A Home Dedication is a meaningful way to make moving into your new home even more special. At David Weekley Homes, for every new home that we build, we offer complimentary Home Dedications. Through our Home Dedication Program, you can get the personal and spiritual experience you’ve been looking for in a home blessing by a local chaplain. We provide this special offer because moving into your new home is as special to us as it is to you.

Faith at Home

We work exclusively with Marketplace Chaplains, the largest and longest continuing provider of chaplains in the country. Since its founding in Dallas, Texas, nearly 40 years ago, Marketplace Chaplains has expanded across the country, while also serving Canada and Mexico.

Available to all David Weekley Homeowners and Team Members, a vast amount of services are provided by chaplains to allow us to delight our Customers in a unique and special way. Local chaplains have been performing Home Dedications for Homeowners who wish to bless their new homes for the past decade.

Diverse Perspectives

By partnering with Marketplace Chaplains, we have been able to expand our focus to embrace a variety of diverse perspectives. Through the Home Dedication program, we offer a wide array of options, providing chaplains for 90 different Christian denominations.

If a Homeowner prefers a different faith, Marketplace Chaplains will reach out and coordinate the Home Dedication on their behalf. Regardless of the religion or beliefs that our Homeowners observe, we understand and appreciate that each dedication is special to those involved.

Unique Dedications

The Marketplace Chaplains have no templates to work from when it comes to their David Weekley Home Dedications. Homeowners are the driving force behind each dedication. Some ask chaplains to walk the home and pray in all rooms, while others host friends, family, and neighbors for a New Home Ceremony party.
