CAREing for Our Communities in Q3

The Charlotte Division not only collected hundreds of school supplies for Pineville Elementary School, but brightened the school itself by painting the teacher planning room, building tables for the teachers’ lounge, and constructing a white board and planters for an outdoor classroom.

Houston, TX (October 7, 2024): In Q3, the David Weekley Homes Team wrapped up our tenth annual School Supplies Drive at the top of the class!

Thanks to the astounding support from our Team Members, Homeowners, Real Estate Agents and Trade Partners across the country, we were able to donate more than $118,500 in supplies to 20 nonprofit organizations and schools, and Dovetail Impact Foundation gave more than $143,000 in grants. These materials and donations went to benefit over 15,300 students and teachers across the country with materials to prepare them for a bright school year.

“We were all blown away by your Team’s generosity and commitment to ensuring our kiddos have a successful school year,” said Sara Howe, Director of Advancement for Boys and Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties. “I know these supplies and your support mean the world to our families. Thank you.”

In addition to our School Supplies Drive, our Team also served their communities through a variety of other initiatives during Q3. Team Members across the country gave back by making blankets, hosting blood drives, packing food boxes for senior citizens and volunteering at the 9/11 Day of Service at USF’s Yuengling Center and more.
