DAVID WEEKLEY BREAKS GROUND ON FIRST MODEL HOME IN TWIN CITIES
MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL, MN (September 9, 2015) – David Weekley Homes is building its first model home in Minneapolis/St. Paul. The builder launched into the Twin Cities in August 2015 and is building The Daphne Rose model home in its first community, The Cove on Lake Minnetonka in Minnetrista.
The Daphne Rose will offer nearly 6,000 square feet of living space on a one-third acre homesite. The two-story home will have six bedrooms, five full baths, one half bath and a three-car garage. The model home will feature a gourmet kitchen, a large mud room, a double-sided fireplace, a screened-in porch and a retreat area on the second level.
The Cove on Lake Minnetonka will offer lake access living with boat slips on 90-foot homesites. Priced from the $800s, the single-family homes will offer side swing garages, covered porches and optional finished basements. David Weekley will offer two-story floor plans with upstairs and downstairs owner’s retreats, ranging in size from 3,100 to 4,500 square feet. Homebuyers will enjoy a private clubhouse and pool, miles of walking trails and 150 acres of open space.
The Pines at Elm Creek in Plymouth will be the second community of David Weekley homes. The builder will also build single-family homes in Chanhassen, Minnetonka and Maple Grove.
