David Weekley Homes Awarded for Griffin Park
Orlando, FL (April 20, 2017): David Weekley Homes, the nation’s largest privately-held home builder, added another award to its count at the Orlando Business Journal’s 2017 Residential Real Estate Awards. Griffin Park, Weekley’s newest community coming soon to downtown Lake Mary, was honored as the Top Luxury Residential Project. The award brings the company’s total to almost 1,150 overall.
Chosen by the Orlando Business Journal, the annual Residential Real Estate Awards recognize companies and individuals who have significantly contributed to Central Florida’s real estate industry during the last 12 months.
The gated Griffin Park will offer five series of homes: Townhomes, City Homes, Cottages, Bungalows and Gardens. Griffin Park will also have walkability to Griffin Farms at Midtown, a town center which will feature a specialty grocer, 24 Hour Fitness, dining and retail opportunities.
“We’re very proud of this honor from the Orlando Business Journal,” said Brent Bartholomew, division president for David Weekley Homes in Orlando. “We’re excited to bring this luxurious, walkable community to Lake Mary, and I hope this award will get the community excited about what we’re building.”
