DAVID WEEKLEY HOMES BREAKS GROUND ON CYPRESS FOREST IN KYLE

AUSTIN, TX (September 22, 2015): David Weekley Homes and Scott Felder Homes officially broke ground on Cypress Forest, a new community in Kyle located at the intersection of Center Street and Old Stage Coach Road.

Approximately 40 guests were in attendance, including members of the Kyle Economic Development Council, Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce and other elected officials. Julie Snyder, CEO of the Kyle Chamber of Commerce, and Todd Webster, mayor of Kyle, provided opening remarks, and Jim Rado, area president David Weekley Homes, and Steve Krasoff, president Scott Felder Homes, spoke about plans for the community that will include 340 single-family homes.

Developed by David Weekley Homes, Cypress Forest will feature 55-, 65- and 80-foot wooded homesites. Future amenities include a pool and the community is located within walking distance to Wallace Middle School. Homebuyers will also be in proximity to fishing and hiking at Lake Kyle and 20 miles from downtown Austin.

Pre-sales are expected to begin in early 2016 and the model home grand opening is slated for June 2016.
