David Weekley Homes Breaks Ground on New Model in Lilyana

Dallas, TX (April 13, 2017): David Weekley Homes, the nation’s largest private home builder, broke ground on a model home in the master-planned community of Lilyana, a 400-acre tract located at the northeast corner of FM 1461 and Court Road in Celina.

The new model home, The Sheppard, is expected to open in May. The one-story home will feature more than 2,800 square feet of living space with four bedrooms, three full baths and a study. The home will also include an open-concept kitchen and dining area with expansive outdoor living area.

Priced from the high $300s, homebuyers will be able to select from 13 floor plans, ranging in size from 2,900 to 4,000 square feet, in the Classic and Executive Series. Lilyana will include a total of 1,250 single-family homes and will be built according to Hillwood’s LiveSmart principles, which include a sense of community, technology, healthy living, environmental stewardship and education and enrichment.

Homebuyers will have access to a linear park with an amenity center including a resort-style pool, pavilion and outdoor kitchen. It will also include 63 acres of green space with multiple community parks and several miles of trails.

The community will be convenient to many local attractions such as the $5 billion mile; The Star, home to the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters; retail shopping, dining and entertainment. It’s also in proximity to area sports stadiums for the FC Dallas soccer team, and the Minor League Baseball team, the Frisco RoughRiders. Lilyana also offers nearby access to major employment centers in Frisco, Dallas and Plano via the Dallas North Tollway, Sam Rayburn Tollway and Central Expressway. Students will attend Prosper ISD schools.
