David Weekley Homes Named to Fast Track List by San Antonio Business Journal

San Antonio, TX (July 21, 2017): David Weekley Homes, the nation’s largest privately-held home builder, was recently named to the 2017 list of Fast Track businesses by the San Antonio Business Journal.

The home builder ranked No. 31 on the list that included the top 50 independent, privately-held corporation, proprietorship or partnership through the end of fiscal 2016. Other criteria used to determine rank included increased revenue from fiscal 2014 through fiscal 2016, and revenue greater than $100,000 in fiscal 2016.

The 50 companies represent 20 industries from construction to marketing and manufacturing to insurance. Company sizes range from hundreds of employees to small boutique companies with a single CEO/owner, and while some make billions of dollars in revenue, others make a couple hundred thousand.

The average revenue growth rate from 2014 to 2016 among these Fast Track companies was 247.3 percent, while the median was 43.5 percent. The median gross local revenue in fiscal 2016 was $10.3 million.
