David Weekley Homes Participates in Breast Cancer Awareness
Houston, TX (October 17, 2018): David Weekley Homes, the nation’s largest private home builder, has partnered with Builders Post-Tension (BPT) to offer pink tension cables in new homes currently under construction in the Houston area during the month of October.
For every homeowner that selects the pink cabling package, BPT will make a monetary donation to a breast cancer charity to raise awareness and encourage screenings. The pink cables were recently installed in Weekley’s Katy-area community of Cane Island – Elmwood Trails and are available for installation through October 31.
“It is a pleasure to partner with BPT to support this worthy cause,” said Brock Eller, division president with David Weekley Homes in Houston. “Our homeowners are excited about the opportunity and the altruistic foundation of their home.”
The extruded pink cables in October align with the volunteer and philanthropic initiative of Weekley’s CARE program, which joins team members with homeowners, homebuyers, community partners and local nonprofit organizations to live out its purpose of Building Dreams, Enhancing Lives in each of the communities in which it builds.
