DAVID WEEKLEY HOMES PARTNERING WITH SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK FOR FIRST-EVER TURKEY DRIVE
Orlando, FL (October 23, 2014) – David Weekley Homes, the nation’s largest privately-held home builder, is hosting its first-ever Turkey Drive to help feed those in need this holiday season through Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.
On Friday, November 7, David Weekley Homes will be collecting frozen turkeys between 7:30 and 10:30 a.m. Monetary donations can be made anytime online at http://goo.gl/CRRm96.
All turkeys and money donated will be given to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. The food bank strives to use education, advocacy and partnerships to eliminate hunger by the solicitation and distribution of food. To assist those in need, Second Harvest partners with more than 550 nonprofit agencies in six Central Florida counties to provide food for their clients.
