DAVID WEEKLEY HOMES PREPARES FOR SECOND ANNUAL TURKEY DRIVE, BENEFITTING MUST MINISTRIES OF ATLANTA

ATLANTA, GA (October 29, 2013): David Weekley Homes, the nation’s largest privately-held home builder, is helping to make the holidays brighter for those in need by collecting frozen turkeys and monetary donations, benefitting MUST Ministries of Atlanta.

The Second Annual David Weekley Homes and Friends Turkey Drive will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at the Smyrna Recreation Center – Jonquil Room, 200 Village Green Circle, Smyrna, GA 33080. A complimentary Thanksgiving lunch will be offered for attendees.

MUST Ministries provides the basic necessities for those in need: food, shelter, clothing and employment. According to MUST, the Atlanta-metro area has one of the fastest growing poverty rates in the United States, leaving children and families in our communities going hungry. MUST Ministries operates three food pantries, in addition to the Loaves and Fishes Community Kitchen, which feeds about 150 hungry men, women and children every day.

Donations made during the David Weekley Homes and Friends Turkey Drive will allow families in need to enjoy Thanksgiving in the comfort of their own homes, and will also provide the main dish for the annual Thanksgiving meal held at the Loaves and Fishes Community Kitchen. Last year's inaugural Turkey Drive garnered over 317 turkeys for local families in need.
