DAVID WEEKLEY HOMES RANKS ON BEST COMPANIES FOR BABY BOOMERS LIST
HOUSTON, TX (September 9, 2015): David Weekley Homes recently ranked on the “10 Best Companies for Baby Boomers” list, released by FORTUNE magazine and Great Place to Work®. This inaugural list, which is derived from the “100 Best Companies to Work For” list, uses survey results from employees over 55 years of age to disclose how they rate their workplace.
Companies on the “10 Best Companies for Baby Boomers” list had the top Trust Index© employee survey scores from the respondents who identified themselves as being 55 years or older, according to workplace research site, Great Rated™. Trust Index scores reflect the average response of employees who measure trust, pride and camaraderie within a company.
“We are thrilled to rank as a top company for baby boomer employees,” said Robert Hefner, Vice President of Human Resources. “We value the contributions and knowledge of our baby boomer Team Members and will continue to offer new and competitive benefits that will entice them to remain part of our diverse and multi-generational team.”
Not only is the nation’s largest privately-held home builder interested in providing a great workplace for baby boomers, but the company recently introduced a new product line specifically for active adults called Encore by David Weekley Homes. This lifestyle-designed approach to home design features open, single-level floor plans with expanded outdoor living areas, low-maintenance living and high-quality craftsmanship, along with many recreational opportunities and amenity centers available in these communities.
David Weekley Homes ranked 14th on the “100 Best Companies to Work For” list and second on the “10 Great Workplaces for Millenials” in 2015.
