Tampa, FL (April 28, 2017): David Weekley Homes, the nation’s largest private home builder, earned four awards at the 2017 Tampa Bay Parade of Homes, a free self-guided model home tour available in April. The awards bring the company’s total to more than 720 awards for product design and 1,150 overall.
Encore at FishHawk Ranch, the builder’s 55+ lifestyle community that features one-story homes on manageable homesites, received the Grand Award for The Lorenzo in the $501,000 - $576,000 category. The model home in Bexley – Village Series, The Tangelo, was honored twice with the Grand Award in the $626,000 - $650,000 category and for Best in Class for Kitchen Design. Additionally, The Mendocino, from the builder’s Asturia Lake Series earned a merit award in the $601,000 – $625,000 category.
