David Weekley Homes Takes Home Four Awards at Jacksonville Parade Of Homes
Jacksonville, FL (May 11, 2016): David Weekley Homes is honored to receive several awards at the 2016 Jacksonville Parade of Homes. The nation’s largest privately-held home builder picked up four awards, bringing the builder’s total to more than 1,100 industry awards.
Since 1954, the Northeast Florida Builders Association has showcased new homes every spring. This year, more than 100 of the area’s best model homes were part of the tour.
Weekley's The Lions in The Crossing at Twenty Mile took home a Gold Award in the $450,000-$470,000 category as well as The Zespedes, which is part of the Executive Series in The Village at Twenty Mile. These two models are part of the web-based program called Design It Yourself, which allows home shoppers to create a floor plan in four steps, providing real-time updates to room counts and pricing. Users can even print the plans they’ve created and review with a sales consultant to begin building their home, based on their design.
The home builder also received Gold awards in the $335,000-$350,00 category for The Ft. Stallings in Shearwater – Imagination Series and The Southfield in Oxford Estates in the $550,000-$570,000 category.
“We’re thrilled to be recognized with these awards from the Jacksonville Parade of Homes,” said Jon Morris, Jacksonville Division President. “Since 1998, David Weekley Homes has been committed to building high-quality homes in Jacksonville and we are honored to receive these awards.”
