David Weekley Homes to Host Dog Wash Events
Charlotte, NC (September 19, 2017): David Weekley Homes, the nation’s largest private home builder, will host two dog wash and adoption events in Charlotte-area communities to benefit local charities.
Visitors and their dogs are invited to stop by the model homes in Massey or Parkside at Skybrook North between 1 and 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 23 for dog baths and treats, and to meet adoptable rescue pets and tour Weekley’s model homes. A minimum donation of $5 per dog wash is appreciated and proceeds from the events will benefit Halfway There Rescue and Catering to Cats and Dogs.
Situated on a 70-foot homesite, Massey’s model home, The Daughtrey, features five bedrooms, four full bathrooms, one half bath and a three-car garage. The fully-furnished home is located at 1994 Felts Parkway in Fort Mill and open daily for tours.
Located in Huntersville, the Skybrook at Park North model home, The Salvadore, is at 10409 Ambercrest Court. This home showcases five bedrooms, four full bathrooms and a two-car garage on an 85-foot homesite.
Same-day adoptions will not be available without pre-approval from the respective charities. Visitors interested in adopting a rescue dog should contact Kaily Ransom at kransom@dwhomes.com to complete the approvals process prior to the event.
