DAVID WEEKLEY TEAMS UP WITH LAMBS ELEMENTARY FOR FIELD DAY
CHARLESTON, SC (June 9, 2015) – David Weekley Homes Team Members helped host a Field Day of fun at Lambs Elementary School in North Charleston.
The volunteer group partnered with Lambs staff to organize activities and games for students during the campus-wide event. Students spent the day hula hooping, jumping rope, playing Frisbee and horse shoes, shooting basketballs and more.
The Charleston team recently partnered with Lambs to organize the campus store, build three “buddy benches” for students and work in the school’s vegetable garden. Lambs is affiliated with Communities in Schools (CIS), which provides a nationally-acclaimed dropout prevention program that empowers students to stay in school and achieve in life.
