Imagination by David Weekley Homes Breaks Ground on New Model in Pineville
Charlotte, NC (May 29, 2018): Imagination by David Weekley Homes, a division of David Weekley Homes offering high-quality homes to value-minded first-time or move-down buyers, recently broke ground on a model home in Chadwick Park at Downtown Pineville. Priced from the low $200s, the community is expected to open for sales this summer.
“Due to the housing downturn, many builders turned their focus away from first-time homebuyers,” said David Weekley, chairman of David Weekley Homes. “With Imagination by David Weekley Homes, we’re prepared to supply this buyer with the high-quality home they deserve at a price they can afford.”
Chadwick Park at Downtown Pineville will feature 36 single-family homes from the builder’s Village Collection, which includes four floor plans ranging in size from 1,900 to 2,400 square feet, and 84 townhomes from the Townhome Collection, with nine floor plans ranging in size from 1,400 to 2,100 square feet. Construction on the Townhome Collection model home will begin at the end of the summer.
Originally developed by the Dover Yarn Mills in the 1800s, Pineville was later expanded by the Chadwick-Hoskins Company in the 1920s. Chadwick Park at Downtown Pineville is in close proximity to the original Dover Yarn Mills and features front porches, sidewalks, a nearby park and open spaces that are reminiscent of the historic mill town.
This community is in walking distance to Downtown Pineville and Pineville Park. Students will attend Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools, including nearby Pineville Elementary School and South Mecklenburg High School. Residents will be close to Ballantyne Corporate Park, Carolina Place Mall, Charlotte Douglas International Airport and the LYNX Light Rail, connecting them to South End, University City and Uptown Charlotte.
