David Weekley Homes Completes "This New House" - Proceeds To Benefit Houston PBS
by David Weekley Homes
David Weekley Homes, the third largest privately-owned, single-family Home Builder in the U.S., has teamed up with HoustonPBS and Imperial Oaks to build and donate “This New House,” a project to benefit HoustonPBS.
Over the past three months, David Weekley has been hard at work building a new home from its value-conscious collection of designs, Imagination Homes. With the carpet laid and the lights hung, the home has officially hit the market. Ready for sale in mid-February, David Weekley Homes is donating all proceeds from the sale of the home to The Association for Community Television (ACT), in support of HoustonPBS.
“At David Weekley Homes, our purpose is to enhance people's lives,” said David Weekley, chairman and CEO of David Weekley Homes. “This is why we chose to become a part of this phenomenal event with HoustonPBS and Imperial Oaks. Along with the immense generosity of a distinguished group of vendors and suppliers, we are proud to support public television and its community services in the southeast Texas region.”
Built in the wooded Imperial Oaks development, the 2,700 square foot home's features include five bedrooms, three and one-half bath, a children's retreat, decorative design backsplash in the kitchen and spice-maple cabinets. Prices range from the $120's to the $190's on designs ranging from 2,000 to over 4,000 square feet.
Imagination Homes by David Weekley are designed and built with the same craftsmanship and many of the same features David Weekley Homes are known for. By eliminating some of the more costly, less obvious options, David Weekley has crafted homes with a look and feel far above their price range.
