Protecting Your Commission
Don't forget to fill out a Commission Protection Agreement at time of contract. This will assure that you receive commissions once your Customer closes on their new David Weekley home.
Getting Down to Business... Paperwork!
Paperwork can be a daunting task... especially with the purchase of a new home. Our Sales Consultants will help your Clients manage this process with ease. Once we have the Purchase Agreement drawn up, we will go over the details and get all parties involved to sign and accept the agreement. Then, the building process can begin on your Client’s new home!
Contingencies Allowed
We do allow Contingencies on a limited number of to-be-built homes in each community. As long as your Client can furnish their listing agreement, and you have reviewed to make sure their home is fairly priced, we are happy to start building their new home.
Earnest Money & Options Deposit
The amount of earnest money required is determined at the community level.
Typically we require a 25 percent deposit at the final Design Center Appointment on all Custom Choices™, or the selections and upgrades your Client chooses. Homebuyer Change Requests require 100 percent of the cost at the time of selection.

Home Loan Processing
At David Weekley Homes, we’re happy to help with financing options and have many resources available for your Clients. Ask one of our Sales Consultants how we can be of assistance!
Apply within Five Days
Our Purchase Agreements require your Clients apply for a loan within five days of the sale's effective date. We want to make sure their home buying experience is a smooth process, so we will be checking with you and/or the lender to track progress of the loan.
Loan Locks
It is your Clients' decision when they “lock” in their interest rate. Just remind them to proceed with caution when choosing this date, as our delivery dates are an estimate of when their new home will be complete.
