Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unhappy Buyer I feel like every time we bring up an issue to you all it’s dismissed. We had issues with our AC and were basically just told to accept it. We live in a 3,000 sqft home and should have 2 AC units in Texas. It’s ridiculous. Yet, I’m sure y’all go the cheapest route possible and just put in whatever gets by inspection even if it’s not efficient. Our inspector even called out the AC not cooling properly. So we’ve just had to accept it. Our water since moving here has tasted disgusting and has ruined clothing and is barely drinkable. Again, we contacted you all and you said it was “the cities problem.” Just such little effort to help us correct this problem. The city did flush some things and it helped a little but barley. We know if we reached out to our warranty person they wouldn’t do anything to help. Finally, I reached out to our builder to ask about getting touch up paint for our house because no one left us any. He told us the paint in our house was a matted finish. So I went out and bought Sherwin Williams matted paint and it did not match. So I reached back out to our builder and he said “after speaking to my painter” and proceeded to tell me a different kind of paint. So he didn’t even ask his painter the first time and just told us the wrong paint? I loved wasting time and money getting the wrong paint because your builder was too lazy to look into telling us the correct paint. Our lead builder has been unhelpful and dismissive during the entire closing/after purchase process. We basically just feel like no one cares to help us or take any of our concerns seriously and they just want to be lazy or pass blame to others. At this point I would NOT buy another David Weekly Home in the future or recommend them to others. Not looking forward to when other issues arise in the future because I already know the response we will get.

We couldn’t have picked a better builder, and there’s nothing we would have preferred differently. Having Ty as our seller and Hector as our builder was truly a blessing. As first-time homebuyers, they made us feel calm and safe, always reassuring us when we felt uncertain during the process. The community is perfect for our needs, and we are extremely satisfied with the results. Ty and Hector’s professionalism and care made the whole process truly exceptional.

Our sales person, Ashley Collins, builder Shane Robinette, & warranty representative Denise Ramsden have been incredibly supportive and helpful. We have built a home with another builder previously and did not feel as supported and informed as we have with David Weekley. Any errors or inspection items have been minor and the team has worked quickly to make right. I also feel like the craftsmanship with David Weekley is superior to other builders I looked at. The home is much more sound-proof than our previous home, which with a family of 5, it’s quite amazing to have quiet areas of the home! I highly recommend David Weekley to anyone interested in a new home, our experience has overall been positive.
