Denver, CO (April 21, 2015): Discovery Home residents now have a place to read, play games and enjoy quiet time, thanks to the efforts of David Weekley Homes and HomeAid Colorado.

Orlando, FL (April 21, 2015): By partnering with homeowners, REALTORS® and homeowner’s associations, David Weekley Homes turned the seasonal chore of spring cleaning into an opportunity to donate nearly 5,200 pounds of clothing and household items, and an additional $5,200 monetary donation to benefit The Mustard Seed of Central Florida Furniture and Clothing Bank.

Tampa, FL (April 15, 2015): David Weekley Homes has made spring cleaning interesting by partnering with homeowners to use the seasonal chore as a way to drum up more than 3,700 pounds of charitable donations and $2,000 to benefit Mort Elementary School in Tampa. According to Mort Elementary, every registered student at the school lives at or below the poverty limit, and includes a number of homeless students that the faculty work tirelessly to assist.

CHICAGO, IL (April 14, 2015): Forty-three David Weekley homes are now under construction in a private, gated community in historic Barrington. The builder purchased property for the homesites in March and began development in April 2015.

Tampa, FL (April 14, 2015): David Weekley Homes is pleased to announce the promotion of Len Jaffe to Vice President of Land for the Southeast Region. RALEIGH, NC (March 31, 2015): David Weekley Homes team members partnered with the Ronald McDonald House of Durham to collect basic necessities for families in need. The Raleigh team spent an afternoon spreading cheer and lifting spirits of children and their families, and preparing a home cooked meal for 75 families currently residing at the facility.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (March 26, 2015): Known for building with energy efficiency in mind, David Weekley Homes has announced it will begin using a new sheathing product in its Indianapolis-area homes. ISO RED ci Polyisocyanurate (polyiso) exterior sheathing greatly reduces heat loss through wall framing. Advantages of using polyiso include a 10 percent higher R-value rating in homes. An R-value is a measurement of the effectiveness of a home’s insulation in resisting heat passing through it. The higher the R-value, the more effective the insulation’s thermal performance, resulting in lower energy usage for the homeowner.
