David Weekley Homes, one of the nation’s largest privately-held home builders, has achieved another incredible milestone in the company’s history with its 100,000th home closing since the company’s inception in 1976.

Tampa, FL (May 19, 2020): David Weekley Homes, the nation’s largest privately held builder, received two awards at the 2020 Parade of Homes. These latest accolades bring the company’s total to more than 810 awards for product design and 1,335 overall. Chosen through the Tampa Bay Builders Association, the annual Parade of Homes showcases the best homes throughout the Tampa area.

Denver, CO (March 3, 2020): David Weekley Homes, the nation’s largest privately-held home builder, will soon begin building in Brighton Crossings, located northeast of Denver in Brighton, CO. The builder will break ground on a model home later this month.

Tampa, FL (February 25, 2020): David Weekley Homes, the nation’s largest privately-held builder, will soon begin building in Persimmon Park, located within the Wesley Chapel community of Wiregrass Ranch. The builder broke ground on a model home this month.

Austin, TX (February 11, 2020): David Weekley Homes recently partnered with TreeFolks to help plant loblolly pine trees in Bastrop. Approximately 30 Austin team members, friends and family were on hand to assist the organization with planting 750 pine seedlings along the greenbelts and floodplains at Boggy Creek Greenbelt in Austin.

Dallas, TX (January 21, 2020): David Weekley Homes, the nation’s largest private home builder, has a new model home open in the community of Concordia. Located in Keller, the fully-furnished Bluffstone is open daily for tours.

Houston, TX (January 17, 2020): David Weekley Homes marked the completion of repairs and renovations on 256 homes through its partnership with the nonprofit organization BuildAid. In honor of this milestone, a special event was held to celebrate the families served by the organization after being displaced from their homes following Hurricane Harvey more than two years ago.

Houston, TX (December 13, 2019): Nearly 60,000 people nationwide walked away from the Thanksgiving table with a full belly and a happy heart this year, thanks to the partnership of David Weekley Homes and 18 charities across the U.S. From November 1 – 15, the company hosted its fifth annual companywide Thanksgiving Drive, collecting more than 154,000 pounds of food for 18 local non-profit organizations around the country with help from homeowners, real estate agents, vendors, trade partners and team members.

Atlanta, GA (December 12, 2019): More than 700 people locally – and 60,000 nationwide – walked away from the Thanksgiving table with a full belly and a happy heart this year, thanks to the partnership of David Weekley Homes and 18 charities across the U.S. In Atlanta, David Weekley Homes teamed up with MUST Ministries for the third year, a nonprofit organization that partners with agencies across four counties to feed 250 individuals and families each week. David Weekley team members provided the collected items to MUST Ministries to distribute to families in time for the holiday.

Jacksonville, FL (December 12, 2019): Nearly 2,200 people locally – and 60,000 nationwide – walked away from the Thanksgiving table with a full belly and a happy heart this year, thanks to the partnership of David Weekley Homes and 18 charities across the U.S. In Jacksonville, David Weekley Homes teamed up with Farm Share, a nonprofit organization that partners with agencies to distribute approximately 40 million pounds of food each year to families in need.
